The Della Penna Pediatric Center of Doylestown Hospital
With the ever-changing and sometimes unexpected needs of children, Doylestown Hospital is pleased to provide the community with expert, pediatric care close to home. The hospital offers infants, children and teens quality pediatric care in emergent, inpatient or outpatient settings. Inpatient pediatric care extends to all ages of childhood in The Carol and Louis Della Penna Pediatric Center of Doylestown Hospital.
Our young patients are referred to the hospital for inpatient care by their pediatrician (complete form on right to) or they are admitted from the Doylestown Hospital Emergency Department. Inpatient pediatric care needs may include an overnight stay for additional health monitoring, treatment of an illness, recovery from surgery or other health conditions that require extended care.

Our pediatric care team works closely with the patient, their family/caregiver and their pediatrician to develop the best possible treatment plan to improve the child’s health and wellbeing.
The Della Penna Pediatric Center diagnoses and treats common pediatric conditions and injuries which include respiratory problems such as asthma or RSV, dehydration, complications from fever, minor trauma/concussion, sports injuries, pain management, gastrointestinal conditions and more.
Our Pediatric Team
The pediatric care team includes board-certified pediatric physicians and nurse practitioners and pediatric nurses experienced in caring for the special needs of children. Available 24/7, this team is specifically trained to take care of pediatric patients during their stay in the hospital.
